I want to go to Disneyland with Danny. I’ve spent too much time at Disney World these past few years, I need a change of scenery. Plus, it would be Danny’s first time. I’m hoping to get a photographer to capture cute moments for us at both Disneyland and DCA.
2. Visit Salem during the fall season.
4. Buy a camera and learn how to take photos properly.
5. Learn how to edit photos.
6. Take more video of myself.
7. Be a booth babe at a con where Danny has a table to sell his art.
8. Get my savings account back to where it used to be.
9. Save money by reusing outfits for any potential photoshoots.
10. Sell outfits I don’t wear or that do not fit me.
11. Spend less time on social media and stop feeling pressured to make content for the sake of an IG grid.
12. Couple photoshoots: Harley and Joker, Alice and Mad Hatter, Beetlejuice and Lydia.
13. Be consistent with my skincare routine.
15. Plan a way to be more active and be consistent in my execution.
16. Read one normal book and one comic book a month.
17. Listen to one new album a week aka listen to more metal.
18. Jedi mind trick Danny into drawing Stripe the Gremlin and Mohawk the Mogwai.
19. Acquire full size replicas of Gizmo and Mohawk from Gremlins 2.
20. Continue my ongoing streak of never catching COVID.
2. Visit Salem during the fall season.
I’ve been wanting to see the 8-foot tall Baphomet statue for years at The Satanic Temple, and Danny is the perfect person to take me because he won’t judge me lol.
3. Explore a U.S. city I haven’t been to yet.
Danny and I spent time in Philly last year, and it made me want to take more mini trips. Maybe Boston, Pittsburgh or DC.
4. Buy a camera and learn how to take photos properly.
I have to research and ask friends for recommendations because I know nothing about cameras. I’d probably start off small with a camera that’s more affordable, but I’d like something that is a step up from my iPhone.
5. Learn how to edit photos.
I’ve always wanted to learn properly. Maybe, if I get a camera, it will push me to learn and practice a new skill.
6. Take more video of myself.
In terms of creating videos of our adventures together, I really need more footage of us. Danny and I are horrible at being on camera though. I prefer still photos, but I want to get out of my comfort zone and stop being so awkward.
7. Be a booth babe at a con where Danny has a table to sell his art.
I’m still upset I didn’t get to accompany Danny to Seattle for ECCC last year, so I’m manifesting his acceptance to Artist Alley again and hopefully, I can be with him this time around. Plus, this could possibly fulfill my goal of going to a U.S. city I’ve never been to before.
8. Get my savings account back to where it used to be.
I have to be vigilant in not buying anything for the first half of the year. My savings account is lower than I want it to be because I wanted to be psychotic and go to Disney 4x in the span of 9 months.
9. Save money by reusing outfits for any potential photoshoots.
This goes back to me not spending money, especially on clothes I do not need.
10. Sell outfits I don’t wear or that do not fit me.
I need to declutter my closet by selling anything that I’m not going to wear anymore or any Blackmilk dresses that do not fit me.
11. Spend less time on social media and stop feeling pressured to make content for the sake of an IG grid.
I want to stop scrolling endlessly on IG by habit, and focus on spending my time being productive on my blog, reading books, planning trips, etc. I also want to stop feeling like I’m not doing enough if I don’t have all the flower, Halloween, Christmas, etc. photos to post. I need to stop having fomo.
12. Couple photoshoots: Harley and Joker, Alice and Mad Hatter, Beetlejuice and Lydia.
I want to take new cosplay photos with Danny, especially a glow up of our Joker and Harley.
13. Be consistent with my skincare routine.
I have a better understanding of skincare and the proper products to use on my face now, so I need to be more consistent and stop being lazy about applying product everyday. Since I wasn’t wearing makeup anymore, 2020 was the year of me figuring out a new skincare routine for my skin. Now, my skin is a lot smoother and I barely have any texture on my face. I also very rarely breakout, which I suspect is from never wearing foundation nowadays. I want to keep this up.
14. Take better care of my hair!
I’ve taken better care of my skin, but not my hair. I need to apply more hair masks to help repair and moisturize my hair. I want to wear my brunette locks down more often this year, so I need to start taking proper care of it and again, stop being so lazy.
15. Plan a way to be more active and be consistent in my execution.
I want to make myself take more walks, and probably do at-home workouts. I really want to work on not being so lazy. I want to be healthier and strengthen my body. I know, it sounds cliché, but I really do. My body getting more tone in the process will be a bonus. I don’t want to be hard on myself, in terms, placing a goal on how much I need to be losing. I just want to be kinder to myself. I don’t know if I’ll venture into a gym this year because of COVID, money and my social anxieties, but for now, I’ll take baby steps. I could possibly look into dance classes for adults since that is easier to come by in NYC than on Long Island.
16. Read one normal book and one comic book a month.
I haven’t read a book in a long time, and it makes me sad. I also need to finish my never-ending backlog of comic books I have yet to read. I want to be more consistent.
17. Listen to one new album a week aka listen to more metal.
I saw my Music in Review for 2021, and I haven’t really listened to anything new when it comes to metal. I really want to find bands that make me feel alive the way Slipknot and Korn do, but it’s hard to find that spark. It’s like looking for your soulmate in a way. I’m glad that, at least, this year I’ve found that in Spiritbox.
18. Jedi mind trick Danny into drawing Stripe the Gremlin and Mohawk the Mogwai.
I got him to draw Gizmo this year, so I’ve already planted the seeds in his head for more Gremlin stickers. *evil maniacal laughter*
19. Acquire full size replicas of Gizmo and Mohawk from Gremlins 2.
I’m impatiently waiting for Trick or Treat Studios to release the preorders for both of them. It’s been a dream of mine to have a life-size Gizmo.
20. Continue my ongoing streak of never catching COVID.
I’m been going strong these last two years, so let’s see if I can make it another year.

1. I have a Disneyland photographer for you!
ReplyDelete2 & 3. You can do Boston and Salem together bc they're very close. Just give yourself more than a day and a half so you can see all you want to see, don't be like me 😅. I'm also going possibly going to be in DC again for cherry blossom season and a race with Kerri April 1-3 if you're interested.
4. Idk much about cameras but a lot of people always recommend Sony's mirrorless camera. Mine is a Sony and I believe Christine's is too. Vutha prefers Fuji though bc he says the lens are cheaper.
15. If you're interested in low impact but effective, and also easy no equipment needed for the most part, I really love and recommend Blogilates. Her stuff is all free and there's a lot of options on how to access her workouts. YouTube, the app, free workout calendars on her blog if you don't want to pay for the app ( I ended up paying bc I like the convenience). I love her style of teaching and going through all the moves and you can do a full hour or even more if you want, or even as little as 5 min a day. There's a lot of variety, and a lot of different difficulty levels. She offers beginner videos to more intense and I really enjoyed doing an entire year of her videos so I would really recommend it. Plus you've always been much stronger at core stuff than I have been so you'd probably kill it. 🥰 If you have any questions or need anything, let me know. Wish you were closer so we could work out together again.💖💖💖
