I’ve been scheming since last year in my efforts to dine at Christmas-themed restaurants each Holiday season. For the last Christmas, Danny and I visited Papillon Bistro & Bar, and the decorations were out of this world. This year I choose to dine at Lillie’s Victorian Establishment! My first visit to Lillie’s was for the Halloween season, in which the restaurant is adorned in skeletons galore and other frightful delights. As you can imagine, I was just as excited to see the restaurant covered head to toe in Christmas decorations.
Since last year, I had plans to see Oscar Wilde too during the Christmas season, but it didn’t fit into my plans this winter. I also figured this restaurant will always be Danny’s least favorite because of the club vibes lol. I still want to experience all three restaurants for the holidays though.
Maybe next year I’ll remember to plan a visit to Rolf’s, a German restaurant in the city that is famous for its year-round holiday decor. Reservations are hard to come by during the holiday season unless you plan early and are willing to physically go to the restaurant to make arrangements. I’m tempted to go in August in a cute red dress just for the empty holiday photos because why not?
