I woke up before dawn to see all the Christmas sights in the early morning while freezing my ass before tourists descended upon Midtown that day. I don’t even wake up this early for work, but the crowds have been insane this year. Apparently, 2023 was the comeback year for New York’s post-pandemic Christmas season. By the time I made it to Bryant Park at 10:30 in the morning, it was already getting crowded. I can only imagine the congestion at the park later on in the day. The tourists have finally discovered Bryant Park. It was my safe haven.
My itinerary for the day:

- Saks Fifth Avenue
- Rockefeller Center
- Radio City Music Hall
- 6th Avenue - Giant Ornaments & Candy Canes
- 1221 Avenue of the Americas
- Bryant Park Winter Village
- NYPL at Bryant Park
