Spoiler alert: 2025 was, in fact, not a great year for movies. Girl, I was struggling. Horror is usually my comfort genre, but this year it just didn’t deliver. Most films failed to pull at my horror strings. No real tension, no lasting dread, nothing that stayed with me once the lights came back on. It felt like a year full of missed potential.
