New Obsession: Star Wars in Pastels

I found myself going down another rabbit hole trying to incorporate Danny’s Grogu sticker into something I use or see everyday. I love the idea of stickers, but I never know what to decorate with them, and because I feel so sentimental about Danny’s art I didn’t want to put his designs just anywhere. I decided it would be cute to find a pin backpack, and pin his sticker there. It would be on display, and I only use backpacks now when I venture out into the world. Simple enough, right? No. 

Now, I needed pins to fill up the backpack, and I needed to find a backpack I liked. I told myself on so many occasions that I was to stop buying new backpacks. Well, I’m a filthy liar, and the last time is never the last time. I found that LoungeFly actually makes Pin Trader mini backpacks in several colors. I trust their sturdy quality, and I have yet to destroy one of their backpacks. So, here I was ordering a new pink backpack, because what other color would I choose? 

I was at a loss trying to find pins I liked until I stumbled upon a small shop on Instagram called Black Wanda's Shop with Star War themed pins in pastel colors... that would match my pink bag perfectly. It was pure fate. 

Not only did the shop have a ton of Star Wars pins, but they were preparing for a new collection, which was launching new Grogu and Mando additions. At the end of all this, I ended up spending $130 on pins, and I have no regrets. I wasn’t able to get the Boba Fett and Mando set on its first release, but I managed to snatch them up when restocks were released. Boba Fett will find his home with Danny, while I manage to squeeze Mando into the very limited space on this backpack. 

I’m very proud of my creation, and I absolutely love the aesthetic. I added a mini Grogu Pop Vinyl keychain to my masterpiece, and voilà! So far, it seems the pins lock in pretty well. I’m just hoping I don’t lose any of these pins because I love them too much!
