Chasing flowers lead me to both tulips fields, and rows of cherry blossom trees this past weekend. I spent the first half of the day fighting off 15-20 mph winds, and freezing my butt off in my red dress for some shots in the tulip fields of Waterdrinker Family Farm on Long Island before they disappear. If there is a higher being at play, they are constantly working against me to not allow me proper flower photos. I’m convinced of this. I had already missed an opportunity to shoot with one of my favorite photographers in these fields due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. On this particular morning, the weather decided that windy and cold would be acceptable because, at least, it gave me bright and sunny skies. I did manage to get some decent shots where the wind was not blowing my hair in my face for what it is worth.
The second half of the day faired to be a lot better. I got to meet up with my boyfriend and friends at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom before they wisk away for another year. We lucked out, and the blooms were still there pretty in pink. I’m really happy with how the photos from both Christine and Vutha came out for this shoot. I’m excited to finally have new content to post on Instagram.
Danny also got several cute shots of me with and without the girls, along with some adorable selfies of us together. On top of that, he was able to get a lot of good content for a new vlog. I feel so special being featured in his video, and I love it so much. It’s really nice having a day out with the girls captured on video for me to look back on. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for Disney!
I love going on photoshoot adventures with my favorite people. It’s just makes me super happy. I also love getting to cross off things from my bucket list. It was definitely a good day.
