The world seems more vibrant and alive now.
It’s like I’m seeing in 20/20 again.
The world is not a blur.
I don’t have to view you in a rose tint.
Because everything about this is real.
I have more clarity than I’ve ever had before.
The Earth spins differently when I’m with you.
Sometimes in slow motion.
Sometimes with more ease and with little care.
I’m not dizzy and sick anymore from the constant roundabouts.
I’m free-floating and light.
I’m loved.
I remember viewing Valentine’s Day in a negative light because sometimes, being alone is difficult for single people (whether we like to admit it or not) and sometimes, being in a toxic, unhappy relationship is soul crushing on a day where you just want to be loved by the right person.
Be more kind and understanding of these people. We are all going through something behind closed doors. Not all of us have gained the same clarity. Not all of us are dancing with our soulmates yet.
Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever Valentine. I’m truly thankful for the peace and easiness you have brought to my life. I’d still be in the dark if it wasn’t for you.
