Halloween Lover πŸŽƒ

I felt beyond accomplished this past Halloween season! I mean, I got myself into TWO costumes. Who is she?! I noticed I haven’t really gotten into the full Halloween spirit in the past few years, especially because I’ve had a Disney vacation planned every October.

Don’t get me wrong, I love going to Disney Parks but their Halloween is very… tame lol. As a lover of all things dark and a horror connoisseur, it’s not a fulfilling Halloween for me. I haven’t even been going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal these past few trips because the maze themes aren’t stellar enough for me to cough up the significant amount money it costs just for two people to attend for one night. Not to mention, there’s no real guarantee I’ll be able to experience every maze.

While I was very excited for my past Disney trips, and had a great time, I felt more alive this Halloween season curating different looks and costumes. I honestly do not love cosplaying Disney characters as much I love dressing up as my favorite dark protagonists and horror villains. More proof I’m not the Disney adult you think I am. I mainly just love being Alice in Wonderland lol. Sincerely, Disney trips take up too much of my October, leaving me less time to do local Halloween festivities. Most likely, I will be taking a break from Disney since I’m growing tired of it and it will allow me to accomplish more during the fall season.

I visited pumpkin patches and apple orchards. Sported a witchy look in Central Park. Dined at two Halloween themed restaurants. Took photos at Pier 17’s pumpkin arch. Transformed into Wednesday Addams and Sabrina Spellman. Finally wore a goth look for a photoshoot. Journeyed to Westchester to see The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. I couldn’t have done all that if I was in the Disney bubble for a week.

I’m already super excited for next Halloween, and have several costumes planned because I’m insane but in the best way possible!
