Cemetery Walks

I went to Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn to see cherry blossoms in bloom. There weren't many of them, but there were still beautiful trees to take photos. This time, we explored more of the cemetery and found Sylvan Lake, further behind Valley Lake. There was a beautiful tree with cherry petals slowly falling one by one, creating a sea of pink and white on the ground below.

Looking at the cemetery map now, we still have not seen a quarter of its grounds. Someday, I'll explore every corner of this beautiful place. I'm always curious about the lives every person here led when they were alive. What were their struggles and sorrows? Are they at peace now? What secrets did they take with them? And what lessons did they learn? Are They alone? Are they dancing with their loved ones in some other place? I guess I'll never know.
