Thankfully, I checked the night before to devise an alternative plan instead of spiraling. We decided to see Civil War at the Alamo and walk around Brookfield Place in Battery Park to see if the tulips bloomed at Pumphouse Park. And they were! I love that there is this tulip sanctuary in Lower Manhattan. We passed by Zuccotti Park on our way to the Alamo and | noticed this park has tulips, too. I'm happy I got to see flowers, at least. I can check this off my bucket list for flower season. It wasn't the daffodils and cherry blossoms I envisioned at NYBG, but I'm glad it was still a good day with my love!
I've also started using the white camera to take photos, but I'm still in baby steps. I barely know what the buttons mean. I think my phone is taking potato photos of spring flowers, and I'm mad about it. I guess it motivates me to take more pictures using a professional camera. I want to figure out the settings and understand the lens better. The more I use the camera, the more comfortable I’ll feel using it. Hopefully, I start retaining information!
