Sunday Walks in Brooklyn

Danny and I visited Shore Park and Parkway in Bay Ridge for stunning views of the Verazzano Bridge. It was a beautiful day at 72 degrees and sunny. These are my ideal summer days, but they may be few and far between. I feel somewhat depressed now that summer is beginning, so visiting somewhere new in Brooklyn and taking a walk was nice while the weather wasn't too hot. I don't know why I haven't visited here before after living in Sunset Park for three years, but alas, I've conquered taking photos of all the famous bridges in Brooklyn.

We saw two cruise ships sailing down the Narrow to an unknown destination. One of the ships was the Celebrity Eclipse, which, as I suspected, is currently on her way to Bermuda. Ironically, she will be going to Iceland from New York in August. I'm tempted to book the cruise, but I can't be impulsive and don't have 12 days to spare from work.

The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet. Danny says it's because it's where the rich people live. LOL. I told him he needed to get it together so we could live in Bay Ridge instead. If you are wondering what I will be doing for the rest of my summer days, it will be apartment hunting and figuring out how to afford a Corgi, too.
